By creating a DotCity Pay account or initiating any transfer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 or older, resident in a supported country, and provide accurate identity information. We reserve the right to decline service to any individual.
We are legally required to verify your identity to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations. Failure to provide valid ID will result in transfer holds or account suspension.
Individual transfers: min $1, max $5,000. Monthly limit: $20,000. Higher limits available for verified business accounts. We reserve the right to apply additional limits at any time.
The exchange rate and fee are displayed and locked for 30 minutes upon transfer confirmation. Rates may fluctuate; we are not responsible for market movements after a confirmed transfer.
Most M-PESA transfers complete within 5 minutes. We are not responsible for delays caused by Safaricom, recipient banks, or network outages. Failed transfers are refunded within 3 business days.
You may not use DotCity Pay for gambling, terrorism financing, money laundering, or any illegal activity. We monitor all transfers and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
If a transfer fails and funds were debited, we will refund the full amount including fees within 3 business days. Initiated transfers cannot be cancelled once the recipient has received the funds.
We collect and store personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using DotCity Pay, you consent to this processing.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
